National Dementia Conference – Inspiring and Informing a National Dementia Strategy for Canada

On May 14-15, 2018, the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor Minister of Health for Canada hosted a national dementia conference to help inform the national dementia strategy. The conference brought together approximately 200 participants from the six stakeholders groups identified in the National Strategy for Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias Act: people living with dementia, caregivers, researchers, health professionals, advocacy groups and representatives from provincial and territorial governments.

The final report from the conference, National Dementia Conference – Inspiring and Informing a National Dementia Strategy for Canada, has now been published and can be viewed by clicking here: National Dementia Conference Report (2018) - EN
