September is upon us again, and so many of us have fall projects underway. In Calgary, we have started a pilot gerontology study group. We received a lot of initial interest expressed to our email account, and were happy to have everyone who attended our information meeting sign up to participate for the full 8 weeks. We are trialling an online option for the first time, and will use the feedback of our participants to guide us in offering future sessions. We have also welcomed LPNs to participate as part of their own continuing competence plans. We expect this study group to wrap up during the first week of November, just in time for those RNs who are registered to write CNA's Certification Exam.
