Hello to all fellow AGNA Members!
We are excited to announce we will run an 8 week long study group this fall in Calgary. Our information night will be held September 5th (see poster below.)
The study group was originally designed to support RNs who were preparing to write CNA's Certification exam in Gerontology, and still follows the competency blueprint set out (see the CNA website.) There has also been significant interest from our LPN members in attending study groups to support their professional growth and practice.
We invite ALL regulated nurses who are interested to attend or log in to the information meeting.
Please note, study groups are not a pre-written course to passively view; they are peer groups with extra support, and will require an 8 week commitment. Each person has the responsibility to review materials that follow the competency blueprint, and discuss that learning with other group members.
