The purpose of AGNA is to bring together nurses who are interested in gerontology and whose intent is to improve the health, wellness, and quality of life of older adults. This, along with our mission to provide leadership in promoting excellence in gerontological nursing, has guided us, your provincial executive, to make the decision to postpone our annual general meeting and education day until the fall of 2020.
We are in challenging times and the health and welfare of others needs to be our primary concern. Our focus needs to be with our peers, colleagues, family, friends, and community in the battle against the COVID-19 virus spread.
I will keep you posted on future plans and hope that as time passes we can reconnect to have shared learning and to share experiences.
